Summer at Copper Mountain Resort
Summer in copper is still in full swing for about 4 weeks until the snow. There is an amazing amount of activities to keep the family happy and entertained. My first thought when I was doing my research was "that will not want to leave for a day trip to work – my children never." We went anyway.
During the weekend there, there was a Guitar Festival. Copper has a celebrity guitar auction every year. For Labor Day weekend, the Copper Country even will take place with live –Music and a rodeo.
Golf enthusiasts appreciate a challenging Copper Creek Golf Course, which has an altitude of 9700 meters. Golf at this height the ball further with your normal swing. In front of the tee on the ninth hole, you can order your lunch and enjoy it, as you exit the last nine holes. The front nine moves over the lakes and streams, but then on the back nine, you can choose from the 19 Century mining town. This is a par 70 course. They also prepare a dessert chocolate pizza. Yum! You have the ability to roll your own sushi Storm King Lounge with a beautiful view situated on the lake.
We had a tour of a few condo accommodations at the resort, courtesy of Copper Vacations. Five-star accommodations. Very nice. For those who have not booked, condo accommodations, it is a must. Like your own little home away from home, you have a fullyequipped kitchen, two bedrooms and a little deck to breathe that fresh mountain air.
